The Chadwick Boseman Humanitarian Scholarship

Connect Teen Connections Scholarship Program provides two students with $1000 scholarship who resides in the U.S. This scholarship is awarded based on applicant achievement in the following:

Community Service

School and Leadership activities
-
Academic excellence
Scholarship program
The scholarship is a one-time award and is payable to an accredited post-secondary institution, skill/training center or trade school, not the student.
The funds are provided to assist students with tuition, required registration or other fees.
The mission is a commitment to making a positive difference in our community. Each applicant must have demonstrated a similar commitment by volunterring a minimum of 40 hours in the community in the last year. from January 1st through November 1st of each year.
Eligibilty
Program Description
All applicants (high school seniors and or post-secondary students) must meet the following requirements:
They must reside in the USA and must be attending an institution within the USA.
They must be planning to enter or currently be attending an accredited post-secondary college or trade school.
The institution must be willing to accept the scholarship payment from the CTC non-profit and credit it to the student's account.
The check will be made payable to the school and mailed to the school. This regulation cannot be waived.
The applicant must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50
Student cannot win in 2 consecutive years

Application Process
Eligible students must submit the following:
The completed scholarship application
The requested documentation as shown in the instructions.
A certified copy of the most current cumulative grade transcript
Applications that do not include all requested information is considered INELIGIBLE for consideration.
The application and all supporting documentations must be postmarked by suggested deadline. Date: __________________
Electronic signature and scanning will be accepted.
A 30 to 60 second video expressing your accomplishment and why you think you should be chosen.
List two letters of recommendations from teachers, an administrator, a counselor, a community organization member , or employee.
